I wanted this new years mail art card to include the subtitle “Not moving to Canada” except, I ran out of space. The day after the election results came in and it was official the Democrats lost the election everything in New York fell silent. I overheard  people saying “I’ll just move to Canada”. I thought how is moving going to help? We are all in this together no matter where we live. It can be more challenging to stay put then run away. We have to plant our feet and stand up for every persons rights.
