This print was originally in color and it was a reductive linocut print I spent a long time editioning it at The Print Making Workshop. I signed and numbered all of the prints and put them in a black plastic corrugated portfolio box. Instead of riding my bike I took the subway to carry my prints home. It was getting late I remember being cold, tired and hungry. I set my portfolio box down and waited for the train to arrive there were not many people waiting. When I got on the train my heart sank. I left my artwork on the subway platform! I jumped off at the next stop and took the train one stop back. The portfolio box was gone. I never found my “Planting Seeds Planting Tears” prints. I made this print based on the lost reductive color print.
