This print was originally going to be the title page for my artist book “Soil and Water”. My vision was for the title to be printed as a rainbow roll that would merged from the sepia tones of soil to the blue tonal colors of water. I editioned the entire run for my book. Then, I collated the pages together and it just did not work as a first page to bring the reader into my book. The blue was all wrong. There you have it an expensive mistake and I learned from it.
